As part of a year-long collaboration with the Memorial Art Gallery called “Glass Works” that celebrates stained glass artist Judith Schaechter, fivebyfive presents the first of three unique events (Music / Glass, Four Meet the Composers Visits and the Premiere Performance) that will appeal to both art and music lovers. For one show only at the Fringe, audience members take part in creating an original glass fused piece of art during a performance by fivebyfive. Artists from Studio 34 will guide the glass-making process. Music on the program includes pieces by David Crowell (Waiting in the Rain for Snow) Diego Garcia (Moon Currents, arranged by fivebyfive bassist Eric J. Polenik), Andrea Mazzariello (Trust Fall), Nicole Murphy (Untangled) and Jon Russell (Night Dance).
